PAMA is a place for children to explore their artistic talents and learn about Peel's history and heritage. We offer a variety of workshops, programs and camps suitable for children ages 6 to 12+.

Please note: children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult except where noted.


Thursday Nights, Saturdays and Sundays - At any time in your visit you can request your own personalized tour with one of our friendly Visitor Service Guides! Included in the cost of admission. You can also arrange a private tour for your group or organization but we do ask that those are booked in advance.

This program is designed to engage and inspire younger children through hands-on activities and stories.

  • Tree Boy, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. presented by To Be Determined Theatre  
    * This event has a limited capacity so please arrive early, first-come-first-serve basis. 
    Ideal for children 7+
  • Dog Day, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Presented by the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.  
    Meet a guide dog and learn about working dogs. 
  • Family Fun Activity, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sculpt your very own still life and make tiny food art
Tuesday, March 13
  • Animal Face Painting, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Art Buffet, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Select your materials and make a work of art in this Family Fun Activity.
  • Family Fun Yoga, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.  (30 to 45 minutes) Stretch and play together.
Wednesday, March 14
  • Let's Play, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. presented by Play Outdoors Peel presented by Ecosource
    Play outdoor creative activities on PAMA's historic grounds.
  • Family Fun Activity, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Explore some simple machines that were used by early settlers and design your very own invention.
Thursday, March 15
  • Family Fun Activity, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Move, Shake and Create your very own musical instrument.
  • Let's Dance, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., presented by Akoma Afro Dance (40 minute program)
    Move to different genres from traditional African to folk Caribbean.

Puppy Dog Days

Pysanka Egg Decorating

Monday, April 2, 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pysanka Eggs are full of patterns and colours.  Be inspired by Ukrainian Easter eggs and create a design of your own. The works "pysank" comes from the verb "to write". Many Eastern Europeon groups also participate in egg decorating. This Drop-in activity is included in the cost of admission.

PAMA Kids Summer Camp

July 9 - 27, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Campers will build, explore, and make colourful creations each day of camp. With indoor and outdoor fun (weather permitting) plus exciting new themes each week they will have a blast and learn a few things too. 

The Great Outdoors, July 9 - 13 

  • Are you ready to enjoy the great outdoors?  This week is full of outdoor play, water art, gardening and sculptures. Explore what PAMA has to offer in this sun-filled week.  Reserve your spot now.

Incredible Kids, July 16 - 20

  • Channel your inner hero and get ready to create. From animation to comics, sculpture and games. The incredible stories within our walls will inspire all things super.  Reserve your spot now.

Wildlife, July 23 - 27

  • Take a walk on the wild side and travel through the rainforest, desert and jungle. Put on your explorer hats and create wild life inspired prints, paintings and so much more. Reserve your spot now.
Our camp is designed for ages 6 - 12 and the cost is $185 per week. Programming is subject to change, always check our site to confirm programming details.
