PAMA is a place for children to explore their artistic talents and learn
about Peel's history and heritage. We offer a variety of
workshops, programs and camps suitable for children ages 6 to 12+.
Please note: children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Guide your family through art projects at PAMA and inspire creativity!
These are drop-in activities, included with PAMA admission and no registration is required. Always free for members.
May - Did you know that writing in a journal was part of Terry Fox's daily routine during his Marathon of Hope? Design your own one-of-a-kind journal and doodle your way to your next big adventure!
June - Canada's National Aboriginal Day falls on June 21 during the summer solstice. Create your own Inukshuk and celebrate Aboriginal cultures and traditions.
July - In celebration of the 150th birthday of Canada, come make your very own 3D Canada Globe.
August - Create your own fabric collage inspired by your thoughts and feelings about what home and comfort mean to you.
Family fun days
Third Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Family time adventures happen here. Join in every third Saturday of the month for a day full of creativity.
Family Art and Yoga: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Learn yoga movements and explore our art buffet for exploratory learning at its best. Space is limited, arrive early.
Family Art and Stories: 2:45 - 3:45 p.m.
This program is designed to engage and inspire younger children through hands-on activities and stories.
Family Tour: 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.

WHAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY TICK? COMMUNITY ART PROJECT
Share your favourite symbols or images of Canada by submitting an artwork that will be part of a community art project displayed at PAMA. Create your piece at home by following these project guidelines
. Artworks will be installed as we receive them between May 4 and August 15.

Bugs and flowers, oh yeah! June 12 is Red Rose Day. Be creative with a family fun activity and find out about Brampton's "Flower Town" history.

Week 1: Around the World (July 10 - July 14)
Week 2: Strange Things (July 17 - July 21)
Let's get innovative with technology art for young inventors and engineers. Enjoy a week of experimentation while developing your mechanical art skills. Bridge building included. Pre-registration is required
Week 3: Sound Art (July 24 - July 28)
Make noise and listen to the art of sound in this musical week of fun. Create moving sculpture, enjoy a sound walk, and listen to the art of spoken word in a week of good vibrations. Pre-registration is required
Week 4: Rock, Paper, Scissors (July 31 - August 4)
Trek out on this rocking geological adventure where campers get to identify and catalogue their very own collections of gems and minerals. We will explore local architecture, trees and rock art, while examining the materials of art and design. Pre-registration is required
Campers will have the opportunity to listen and talk with Art Gallery, Museum and Archive professionals. Exhibitions visits and outdoor fun included.
