An inclusive look at Canada’s most beloved sport: Hockey.

Ice hockey is seen as a fixture of Canadian culture, yet the game has traditionally been represented by white players. We Are Hockey centres on the experiences of people of colour in the sport. It highlights the historic and persistent racial inequalities in the game while celebrating the successes of some of the world’s best players.

Challenging traditional ideas about the game, this exhibit also provides an opportunity to celebrate some of Canada’s unsung hockey heroes.
